Nikolausturnier – Spielen.Feiern

Dear friends and dedicated followers of the famous Nikolausturnier (St. Nicholas Championships), dear sports fans all over Europe!

Just in time for his name day, St. Nicholas is back and knocking at your door, to invite you to the Nikolausturnier. This year on the first weekend of December (Dec 3rd and Dec 4th 2010).

You are cordially welcome to create a team and join the 47th edition of Germany's biggest academic sports tournament. We are absolutely sure to offer all participants two unforgettable days of fun and action, competition and cultural meeting at this increasingly and popular event.

In sports complexes and school gyms all over Münster, around 2.000 students will compete in: Basketball, Floorball, Football, Futsal, Floorball, Handball, Inline-hockey, Lacrosse, Ultimate-frisbee and Volleyball. And watch out, Ladies: This is not a man's world (anymore)! There are mixed competitions in every sport!

Which discipline you and your team choose to compete in it's up to you! Bring along your team mates, lots of fun and the poise to beat the "Best of the Rest" and take the title! Apart from the sweat and smell of victory and defeat, there will also be ample time to celebrate your own performance (or forget about games gone wrong) at the Championship Player's Party on Friday, Dec 4th.

ATTENTION

Owing to the limited capacities of our gyms, the number of teams is also restricted. Thus, an early registration is strongly advisable! Please do not wait until deadline with your registration!
